SARAN BUILDS.

Strategy isn’t just advice. It’s what gets built.

Three companies. Three different industries. The same through-line: walking into a room with a vision — or a dream, or a product with no story — and leaving with a company.

DIP STUDIO

Chief Strategy Officer & Chief Operating Officer

She walked into a one-person design shop. She built it into one of San Diego’s fastest-growing companies.

There was one designer. Brilliant work. Raw talent waiting for the architecture to scale it.

As Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Operating Officer, Saran architected the long-term vision — what Dip could be, not just what it was — then operationalized every layer around it. A freelance design operation became a full-service firm. Designers who once handled their own project scopes began leading specialized teams. Projects that used to end at the design file now continued through prototyping, supplier sourcing, production oversight, and delivery. Clients who found Dip through a referral began finding it across continents. The studio’s offering expanded into everything a founder needs to go from Prototype to Production — under one roof.

In 2025, JP Morgan and the San Diego Chamber of Commerce named Dip Studio one of San Diego’s fastest-growing companies.

BGC — BRAZILIAN GLUTE CLUB

Creative Director & Co-Founding Partner

From Idea to Launch.

Anna, Saran’s personal trainer, had a dream of opening her own fitness studio for twenty years. Nine months after meeting Saran, she opened her first flagship.

Saran came in the way a management consultant does — not to inspire, but to build, optimize, and stress-test from every angle. She ran the cost-benefit analysis, rebuilt the revenue model from the ground up, and conducted the full due diligence to map where BGC could own a position no other boutique fitness studio had claimed.

That position was specific: the intersection of Brazilian culture, biomechanics-based training, and genuine community. The data confirmed it. And once the positioning was clear, everything else could be built from it.

The brand architecture came first — Soul. Science. Club. — then the mission and vision that gave Anna’s twenty-year dream a language. The logo concept brought all three pillars into a single mark. The revenue model set the pricing, the class structure, and the operating model that would make the business viable from day one. A supply chain for BGC’s fitness products was sourced and secured. Licensing and permits were handled.

She pulled the permits, navigated the licensing, and cleared every requirement to open the doors legally. She wrote the copy. She planned the launch.

BGC’s first flagship opened in San Diego, California in 2026.

SAAL

Creative Director · Brand Strategist

The product was there. The brand was there. The soul was missing.

That’s what Saran brought.

There’s a moment in every great brand — before it becomes great — where someone has to decide what it’s really selling. Not the features. Not the specs. Not the problem it solves in a parking lot. The feeling it gives the person who carries it.

Ferrari doesn’t sell transportation. Birkin doesn’t sell storage. Rolex doesn’t sell time — no one buys a Rolex to check what time it is. What they’re buying is status, identity, the feeling of being exactly who they want to be. Every iconic brand has made the same shift: from the literal to the emotional, from the product to the person.

SAAL needed that soul.

The product was already there — an expertly engineered surf system built for every post-session frustration a serious surfer knows. What it didn’t have was a world to live in. An identity. A reason to be chosen by someone who surfs before dawn and walks into a client meeting by nine.

Saran built that world. SAAL isn’t a surf bag. It’s the brand for the person who moves without friction — water to boardroom, surf to conference, session to whatever comes next — without breaking stride. No chaos between who you are in the water and who you are everywhere else.

That’s the flow state. And that’s what Saran named.

Don’t let anything disrupt your flow.

One line. The entire brand.

In April 2026, SAAL won the IF Design Award in Berlin — recognized internationally for best innovative product design.

More in progress. That’s the point.
